Mesotherapy London: Effective Treatments for Skin and Body
Your skin is the biggest organ in the body and it needs hydration and nutrition to ensure it is healthy. At Linia Skin Clinic, we offer Mesotherapy, a treatment that can ensure our skin gets the nutrition it needs.

What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy, whether it’s for the face in the form of a Mesotherapy facial or for another part of the body, is a non-invasive technique that involves the use of multiple injections.
These injections help to deliver important natural and safe plant extracts, hormones, enzymes, antioxidants, minerals and vitamins into the mesoderm to tighten and rejuvenate your skin.
Some notable micronutrients used includes:
- Hyaluronic acid
- Amino acids
- Minerals
- Vitamin A, B, C, E and/or K
It boosts natural collagen levels and lifts and plumps the skin up, acting as an anti-aging treatment, giving it a more youthful and healthier appearance. A nice bonus effect is that they can also help with the removal of excess fat.

What Skin Conditions Can Mesotherapy be Used For?
Mesotherapy can be used for the following skin conditions:
- wrinkles on the face and around the eyes
- loose skin
- smoker’s skin
- tired, dull skin
- stretch marks
- cellulite
- hair loss
- changes in pigmentation
How Can You Prepare for Mesotherapy?
There will be an initial assessment where your needs and concerns will be addressed and a combination of the 14 available RRS products will be combined for your personal treatment.
During this consultation appointment the amount of sessions will be required to get the results you desire will also be discussed.

How Does Mesotherapy Work?
Each mesotherapy session may begin with a numbing agent being applied to the area of skin that’s about to be treated.
Then treatment itself involves a series of injections with short needles that may or may not be attached to a mechanical gun for easier delivery of multiple injections precisely spaced out.
Depending on the conditions the mesotherapy is being used to treat, the injections will be administered at different depths, between 1 and 4mm.
The specialist administering the injections may place them at angles to your skin or flick their wrist quickly as the micronutrients are injected.
Although it can vary, many of the injections may only deliver a very small amount of the solution.
The products used in the injections work almost immediately stimulating the fibroblasts into production of collagen, elastin and extracellular matter, while protecting your cells from potential damage that may be caused by free radicals.
These products will activate upon injection delivering the ingredients selected to achieve the maximum level of improvement to the cells.

Are There Side Effects or Risks Involved With Mesotherapy?
It is generally considered to carry little to no risk, as long as you are treated by a trained and fully qualified specialist.
Some of the side effects that have been known to affect patients, although extremely rare, includes:
- Infection
- Rashes
- Darkened patches of skin
- Bumps around the injection areas
- Bruising
- Redness
- Itching
- Swelling
- Scarring
- Sensitivity
- Pain
- Nausea
How Much Does Mesotherapy Cost?
It can be hard to say what mesotherapy may cost, because it can differ greatly depending on not just the type of treatment you require, but also the amount of sessions you actually need.
For instance, a single session of mesotherapy for your whole face will cost £250, covering your chin, cheeks and forehead, whereas just the cheeks will only cost £200 and a smaller area just £150.
At LINIA Skin Clinic, Mesotherapy is always administered by a doctor and is available for Full Face, Half Face and Small Areas, with a choice of a single treatment, a course of 4 or even a course of 6 as outlined below.
Full Face (Chin, cheeks and forehead)
Single Session – £250
A course of 4 sessions – £900
A course of 6 sessions – £1,250

A course of 6 sessions – £1,000

What Areas Can Benefit from Mesotherapy London?
Mesotherapy London is a highly adaptable cosmetic treatment that addresses various skin concerns across both the face and body. This non-invasive procedure uses a blend of vitamins, minerals, and active ingredients to rejuvenate and revitalise the skin, making it a popular choice in London for those looking to improve their appearance.
On the Face
When performed in London, Mesotherapy offers impressive results for enhancing skin texture and tone. It’s particularly effective for plumping and firming the skin, reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and combating dehydration. As we age, skin hydration levels naturally decrease, and Mesotherapy helps restore moisture, improving the overall look and feel of your skin, leaving it smoother and more youthful.
On the Body
Mesotherapy London also works wonders for body contouring. It helps tighten sagging skin, reduce stubborn fat deposits, and minimise the appearance of stretch marks and cellulite. The treatment can be used in targeted areas to improve skin firmness, contributing to a more toned and smoother appearance.
Specific Areas Treated by Mesotherapy London
- Acne Scarring
Mesotherapy in London is highly effective for reducing the appearance of acne scars. The treatment stimulates the skin’s natural healing process, smoothing uneven skin texture and promoting a clearer, healthier complexion. - Stubborn Belly Fat
Mesotherapy offers a targeted approach to reducing stubborn belly fat. By targeting fat deposits in the abdominal area, it provides a non-invasive body contouring solution that helps you achieve a more defined midsection. - Cellulite
Mesotherapy London is an ideal treatment for tackling cellulite, especially on the legs, stomach, and thighs. It helps improve skin texture and firmness, reducing the dimpling effect caused by cellulite and leaving the skin looking smoother. - Facial Rejuvenation
Facial Mesotherapy in London enhances the overall quality, tone, and texture of your skin. This treatment works to rejuvenate the face, helping to restore a youthful glow and reducing the appearance of ageing. - Double Chin
Mesotherapy is a great option for reducing the appearance of a double chin. By targeting fat deposits around the chin area, it helps contour and tighten the skin, resulting in a more defined jawline and a youthful profile. - Under the Eyes
Mesotherapy in London can also address concerns in the delicate under-eye area. The treatment helps reduce puffiness, dark circles, and enhances the overall appearance of the eyes, leaving them looking refreshed and revitalised. - Hair Growth
Mesotherapy is not just for skin; it can also promote healthier hair growth. By strengthening hair follicles and improving scalp health, Mesotherapy in London contributes to more vibrant, stronger, and healthier hair.

What is the Recovery Period After Mesotherapy Treatment?
As it’s a noninvasive treatment, and thanks to the aesthetic creams used, there is generally no downtime associated with it.
Most patients can return to their normal daily activities straight away. If you have some pain or swelling around the areas injections were administered, you may need a day off work to rest.
If you are interested in mesotherapy, speak to one of our team here at LINIA Skin Clinic today for more information and to book a consultation appointment. Our dermatologist will be happy to help with your specific case.
Brief History of Mesotherapy
The technique was pioneered by a French doctor, Michel Pistor and was used originally as a form of pain relief. In the decades that followed, it became popular in the United States, here in the United Kingdom and throughout the world.
